Awesome pics, and those GBU-31s are incredible. A true fire and forget weapon. In the one pass you can get three, maybe four off if you are quick enough.
Very VERY heavy to carry though 8)

God damn it. They do look impressive as to the firepower of the planes anyway.

Should have seen the SAM Site after my first Pass.
    BDA was 1 x GBU 31 = 5 x Infantry, 3 x SA-3 Launchers, SA-3 Tracking Radar, Dog ear Radar/HQ unit, 3 x Tents, and a ZSU-23 emplacement all Destroyed within a 200m radius.

    Not a bad effort 8)

 pretty much, real high angle of attack was needed for approach..
Spartan did really well just to get it to the runway and did actually land it, unfortunately at the last minute (slowing down on the runway) the chicken legs gave way..

    Re: DCS 161 Sqn Screenshots

lol, what an interesting flight that was..
Lost my wings to the sa-6 on the hilltop and had to fly the 7 mins home using rudder and my engines to steer, which suprisingly once you got use to it wasnt that hard.
Then to have all the hard work removed on the runway was a bit of a bummer 8(

That is the Russian Cluster Bombs, they dispense from the pods on the Aircraft.

The Disadvantages with this system seem obvious enough, you have to fly low over your target to get an appropriate cover/scatter rate for the target which would expose you to AAA.

Fun after the meeting tonight 27/11/2011

Me after attacking the city below the damm started to realise something was wrong with the Ka-50.. ( I did get fired at by a AA gun so that may have done some damage)

Crow not long after I went down had some fun with multiple baddies

I don't think I got everyone, and I can't quite remember who was in all the photos as we have had a great turnout over the last few weeks.

Thanks everyone for making this month a great one online for DCS in Australia.

And thanks Viper for the awesome mission, we have been loving this one! Truely a work of art.

Start of the mission started well.....

But soon later turned on us when the hinds showed up.

After the A- 10 boys cleared the hinds we could take off again
