    Steel Beasts Installs

Hi guys, I have been looking on the gaming shelf and noticed I still haven't installed Steel Beasts from many years ago.

Does anyone here play this game now? Even in other communities (ANZAC?)

Would love to know how to utilize this old sim. I'm going to have a look around and see what I can find.

Yeah understandable with steam games, but this game happens to be around the $140 AUS mark from memory.

In was in a time when I thought I had much more spare time then reality afforded.

This denial can go on for years.

Thats why I own a mountain of games, but I choose to play games that take years to master (I've played maybe 5 games over the last 4 years). Steel Beasts went to the wayside. But I'm keen to know if people have this, and still enjoy it?

According to the Steel Beasts website, this is now only available to military personnel. Is there any way around this for new comers? There was a few of us in Teamspeak the other day looking to get into it.

I guess the versions we have is the PE Edition which is still available, and NOT the personal edition with the Oz Tankies own.

I saw some great SimHQ articles on this. There was some updated graphics and a $ patch that added a number of new drivable vehicles a year or 2 ago.
