    AEF Apllication

    G'day Folks,
My name is butcher and I'm a butcher. Not real creative i know but hey I'm not real bright, but i can lift heavy things I've had a break from flight Sims for a couple of years due to real life circumstances out of my control but now I'm back and raring to go.Before the hiatus i flew with the squadron SC/KG under the name SG/KG_Butcher they flew only Il2 and it was regular flying each week and we were a very slick and coordinated squadron with dedicated Air to Air and dedicated Air to ground.I was in the Ground pounders section as that is what i love.Since returning I am keen to experience some of the new Flight Sims out there Aka DCS A10 and Black shark.Admittedly i haven't had much Modern Sim experience but I'll pick it up over time and with practice. So if your looking for a team player and someone who will turn up on flying nights I'm your man.

I'm currently shopping for a new Track Ir as my old one was fried by a faulty power supply and i also need to get a new headset with mic.(any suggestions for a decent headset will be greatly appreciated )So i can start pretty much as soon i get those two things. So hope to hear from you as I'm dying to get into some serious ground pounding.

    Cheers.....

hey welcome and depending on your budget I will recommend the Razer Carcharias just because they are good and easy to find not too pricy (sub $100AUD)

also my TIR5 clip pro goes on them easy.

He never made the induction and I just had a chat with him. He should be able to find this now and we can finish his induction

Hi Butcher. Looking for a headset and track ir Id recommend (and Im sure many others would too) either an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, headset and track ir all in one . And not that much of a price difference either these days.

Yeah, prices of the TIR sure have come down since 2013

@Skid, nah, I have the approach of if they don't show enough interest we don't want 'em.
