New HOTAS on the horizon from Saitek

If anyone is in the market for a new HOTAS, Saitek is going to release this soon. Doesn't look too bad. Looks a lot less tacky than the X52, and appears to have a lot more functionality.

Not sure why they stick with the use of 'modes' though. I spose some people like 'em.

hope it doesn't suffer from the bad pots the other models have had. my 52 crapped out with the rotaries on the throttle going first, after a year, which was surprising

The best you can do at this moment is sign up at Saitek.com to receive a pre-order notification

Well its US$200 after all. Looks like it has all the (other) buttons you would want to get the job done tho.

Interesting and surprising that a manufacture has developed 4 different strength springs, it is about time.
