There is a couple of guys who own a cockpit in my town did a round the world flight for charity not long ago. I would have loved to build one of these on my 21st, needless to say I doubt my girlfriend would approve of me taking up an entire room in our 1 bedroom flat for a cockpit.

Here's a quick video if the hanger and my pit .these days I just fly the a10c mainly because I have set myself a challenge to master it over the next 6 months .the pit has been a work in progress for around 10 yrs now with still a bit more to go until I am happy .the current setup is ...x55 hotas combat rudder pedals. 7.1 surround although I mostly fly with a fighter helmet that I have installed a quality headset and microphone in .track ir 4 most of the panels are complete and working .currently have 2 X 27 in led monitors and one 24 in but will soon buy a 3rd 27 in and then at the end of the year I will buy 2 more 27 in monitors. Thrustmaster cougar multi function displays. I am about to complete them with 2 X 8 in screens to make them full function

I did see a guy at one point who had added two industrial fans to his pit and tied the speed to his A-10C's in game.
