    DIY CSR pedals

I have managed to get a cheap g27 wheel and gear console (no pedals). Ive decided to build myself a set of CSR pedals. I was wondering if anyone has done this already or had any links to plans or dimensions. Im not to worried about the actual build part, im just not sure about lengths, angles, heights etc.

Also I can build them as a seperate contoller but ideally I would like to trick my computer into thinking they are real g27 pedals. Does anyone have experience or advice they can share?

I have a set of CSTs, if you need pics or anything let me know. I'd lean strongly towards using a load cell, which means youll need a separate controller I believe. The built seems pretty straightforward I think.

Thanks for your reply Mavevenf . A photo would be great. Ive got loads fo questions for you?

How did you work out your angles and lengths for parts. Did you follow a plan, use ratios/equasions, trial and error etc?

Do you have a parts list you could share?

Where did you buy your parts from?

    How much did it cost?

What load cells and controllers did you use or could recommend?

Thank for this link Matt. Theres some really good stuff in there. Joist hangers are a genius idea for housing home made pedals and im about to pull apart our bathroom scales and turn them into a brake pedal.

    Hi mazevenf

When you made your pedals did you use threaded rod and a nylon slider? If you did where did you get the slider from?

    Hey Davos,

I actually bought mine premade cause I'm lazy but yes they are using the threaded rod with slider. Not sure where to obtain them from though sorry.
