Still tinkering away. Been playing with 1:72 builds to try and get a few quick builds done and get my mojo back. Big projects are a marathon. These little kits are a great weekend project.

But my P-51D Mustang has been neglected for awhile, gotta get back to that once I can stay at home for a few days. Joined Britmodoller while the ARC site was shut down for a few months, made a small build thread HERE. Not much to see yet but that cockpit was a lot of fun. Really, really small!

Klown, how did the A-10 go?

I just rewatched your modeling table be youtube clip today Crow.

Went to my local hobby store but they didn't really have much, I was going to buy an airbrush and compressor.

Think I'll buy, hopefully, start either a Mk IX Spitfire or order in the Italeri A10C.

Pretty keen to try some airbrushing and shading.

The Modern Hog Guide is the bible for modelers, but it's rarer then hens teeth (and currently goes for $2,904.00 on Amazon see HERE). I got a lucky 2nd hand copy for 60 bucks a year ago. Author Jake Melampy stated on the ARC forums that he will be making a 2nd edition to this with more A-10C pics, but the internet has been waiting a long time for any more info on this. And it appears he might have moved onto other projects. But his Viper and Hornet books are awesome and I advise buying them ASAP before they go the same way as the Warthog book.
Save yourselves 10 grand (current Amazon price of The Modern Hog guide) and pick up a 2nd edition copy from Reid.

Just bought the Italeri kit from Mighty Ape, waiting to source an airbrush and compressor and it's time to get serious!

Should be a great book. I'll be buying the updated one as well. Jake does good work.

NICE! Have they fixed the cockpit? Or is it still an A model?

Still an A model. There is also a piece on the nose that has been removed in the C model but is still there. Also no new stores, so no litening pod or tgp.

Oh cool, thats a very nice site for stores. Good find, might have to get a few when I get round to building the A10. At $10-15NZ each though, I may have to be a bit selective.
