Three more screenshots from recent sessions, may be useful for something..

Perhaps the second pic could be modified with the 54TW's roundel, or an AEF logo, in the centre of the landing pad..

For our players, please be careful not to upload screenshots which give away the location of our current base for operations.

Post Exploring one of our local moons

About halfway though my ongoing canyon exploration.

"The Backbone of Night", looking toward the centre of the Milky Way Galaxy.
It's not unusual to find wreckage on these moons
    such as this downed satellite

The Diamondback Explorer ain't a bad ship to be using for surface work

Sometimes screenshots really don't do the scenery justice.
This canyon is a couple of hundred kilometres long,
3km wide in parts, and at times over 2km deep.

Post Wed nite - 09MAR - Base Attack

A light crew gathers to prepare for the ground attack.
Ships are, from left to right,
Diamondback Explorer, Cobra Mk III, Fer De Lance, Python.

Incoming missiles! Smurf risking it all, evading another multi-missile strike that streaks past Tassie.
No screenshots from in the thick of the fighting, unfortunately... it was just too hectic!

Sherrington Platform, in the Suchagga system

Sherrington Platform, in the Suchagga system, is an industrial orbital platform that orbits the primary star
in the system at a range of about 250Ls. Most stations and outpost are in orbit around planets or moons,
and this is the first I've seen in orbit directly around a star, which can be seen to the left of the station.

    Orbital platform... with a gate!

Sherrington Platform is also the first orbital platform I've seen that has a gate,
although there appears to be no player access at this time.

    "No Retreat, No Surrender!

"I see my dreams as if I already hold them in my hands.
I dare to dream big for it is me who creates my world..."

saw this interesting alignment of 3 nearby stars last night.

So after poking my brain for half an hour, I still can't remember what the terminology for this phenomena might be. It's not an inferior conjunction, and certainly not an opposition.. maybe a superior conjunction, but these observational terms are usually using the Earth as their basis.... in this case, it isn't. Possibly a superior conjunction.. ?

Either way, I know my brain is in retrograde...

An awful lot of very bluish-white stars in that shot, Klinky.. I prefer the lower colour temperature, warm white globes myself..
