    Championship Race Requirements/Rules:

    - All drivers must display their AEF tag and Membership name (or derivative of) set from within their game.. (
    eg: AEF JonDoe).

    - All drivers are required to be in the AEF|RT Members TeamSpeak channel for all championship races.. (mic not compulsory).

    - "Hitting ESC"(aka Telepitting) during races is not allowed!... Pressing ESC or Telepitting may only be used during practice, qualifying or retiring.

    - All other most common "League Sim Racing Rules" will generally apply
... (If unfamiliar with racing rules, try reading some of these.)

    Battle Orders:

    - All drivers are to register their name for each race in the "BO's" stating their intentions to participate.

    - The "Battle Orders" (Calendar) tab can be found at the top of each AEF web page.

    - Each championship race requires a minimum of 4 driver entrants in the BO's for a race to proceed.

(These individual race BO's are very important for the server admin/organizers to gauge if there is any need for a race postponement or cancellation.)

Please post all "Pre Race", "Post Race" and "Results" discussions, etc. in their related AEF|RT Championship Series threads located > HERE.

    My 2 cents.

Single type............2 x 20 lap races ( for example ), 2nd race reverse grid . No forced pit stop but still heavy tire wear.

Just not sure if it would be too much of a muck around and time consuming to rig the second grid. We could just all do 1 lap and park just before the finish line and rig the order maybe?

    No sig

Yes, reverse grids would be good for a change up, but ATM the sim does not catered for it... We'll do some more research.

"Top 6 Shootouts" would also be a hoot to watch and particpate in.

PS: Please post Links or Tubes to any suggestions of tracks or vehicles made if possible.. yeah?

Perhaps we should consider the new v1.7 Maserati MC GT4 ? ..as it's starting to get great reviews.

The AEF TrackCycle Server has it running this week in lead up to this Saturdays (25lap) public race. >> Here.

Ok. Suggesting that we maybe race on an easy track to tighten the field like an oval or only slightly tougher like monza 66.

Ha Kurbs mentioned over on the Maserati thread. I'm all for making it a 'simpler' circuit to try and bunch people up. Might give me a chance for once.

    Don't know which circuit though.

Looking at what Kurbs suggested, Monza 66 does look good. Sort of oval but not. Nice 'simple' circuit, but yet challenging enough I reckon. my input anyway.

I like the way you need to drive and I think this era was the peak of excitement for formula one. You can blow your engine in qual but you can use tactics during a race with turbo. The others feel slow. I don't mind them but after driving all the cars we have I feel a real need, the need for speed. And you can feel that in this car

When you get this into track, don't be shy to explore the scenery ;-) As usual with Darren's work the scenery is not just the visuals. Go into those parking lots and look for access and exit roads. You are set to explore some of the State of Virginia

Those who remember Darren's Barbagallo few years ago will know what I mean. Others will have to pick their jaws from the floor when they realise what is the size of land and scenery recreated in this project.

My hat off to entire crew* who worked on research and development.

*)I am not one of them, I am just lucky to be Darren's simracing mate since early GTR2 times, so I was able to play with WIP. He probably expected some feedback from me, but I was **** beta tester, I just kept going around, smiling widely untill my face muscles started to hurt...

PS: I must say, this is one fantastic track that can be arguably as good as any of KS's official tracks.
    Plus..
.. Good luck finding all the "VIP access codes" that need to be found around the joint that unlock certain features...

Can I suggest Albert Park as one of the tracks. We didn't get to race there during the first open wheeler series.

    Also this week...

After further testing, we have decided to swap out the VIR - "Grand Grand West Course" version to the "Full Course" version, so it will better the Lotus 98T's driving experience for our members.

Plus for a bit of fun and practice...

Our 24/7 AEF - Australasia [TrackCycle RACING] server is now running the Lotus 98T's and includes the VIR (Full Course) and Monza66 (Full course) tracks in lead up to the start of "Series 5" of our championship.
Please note: The only difference to our c/ship format when using the vehicles, is they will have tyre blankets enabled for the 6 lap sprint race pub format.

    I like albert park but
upon thinking and looking into this car I thought 1988 would be the right tracks to look for. I found a pack that has good quality tracks inside. well detailed and such. it includes adelaide 1988.

My suggestion for a track is...Monaco 1988 its fantastic. hard and challenging with those walls always waiting to catch you out. My second suggestion is for Jacarepagua 1988. long sweeps with changing direction and feathering accelerator to make some of the turns, and run off if you make a mistake.

Only one spot left open for any track suggestions in this final series, as an AC LS track we haven't used for the c/ship as yet will be used for one of them.

PS: So we'd like to here from members what AC track they'd like to race these beasts on as well.. yeah?
