Oh they are just suggestions. I'd also like to suggest aorta dome oval track. High quality the aorta pack. So good that it's included in the rsr website

    Why aorta..

    RE: Aosta Dome Oval

Couldn't find the link to "Aosta track", but found this enlightening > link < about "Rainmaker's" rFactor track conversions for Assetto Corsa.... (Read the whole 6 pages).

Of course the lack of HiRes physical track mesh affecting AC's FFB/handling of vehicles wouldn't be referring to just Rainmakers converted tracks.. but other peoples conversions as well.

Hmmm... So something for us to look out for then.. eh?

youll find aosta here (above). Below is a pic of the different formats. I think its cool. Its a "club choice" over at the assetto corsa club. Oval will be interesting as we have never done one. Just need more people to speak their mind. I really dont care if you hate the idea or if you dont care either. Just say so peps.

Ill have a read of your link then TS as I will be practising "maybe on the aef server", if anyone else is listening

a pure oval track would be a move away from what we've been doing and be interesting. Got my attention definitely.

Cool. Well it may have to be not aosta. It's bends are too tricky. I tried Indianapolis. It was much better. It's on the same link I think

Guy's.. I think we've gotten as close to racing on a "pure oval track" as we're going to (or IMO want to) get.... IE: The Monza66 Full Course we raced last night.

We'll be conducting tests of all "suggested tracks" posted by members in here (well most of them) during the week/s.. and all are welcome to participate.

Just tried that Aosta oval track, very interesting, but would be a short race over 25 laps. Lap time is about 40sec, for me anyway.

Yeah. A proper oval track would be nothing like monza 66. Very different. Monza banks were crap and the idea of drafting never happens. Also monza was sooo long. I think Indianapolis would be ideal and would offer something very different. 60 laps at Indianapolis I say.

I think I'd like to hear the thoughts of other AEF|RT members on doing a race like this one suggested (below) for aprx. 50mins.

R21 is 6 weeks away.. and with this totally different form of racing (indycar style on an oval) warrants further discussion with members.
    So, plenty of time. >_O

I agree Kurbs, but the limited participant discussion we've been having makes the decision process limited.

My vote is for Indianapolis oval as well.

Just a note from the other thread... >> (Guy's... Please refer to an exception for a custom livery to be added to our final series of races >> HERE )

PS: You'll need a matching drivers suit, Kurbs... >> https://detravoid.files.wordpress.co.../tron-anon.jpg

NEWS UPDATE: Our planned V8 Supercars Mod to race at Bathurst this year has been tested and found that the sound is not compatible with AC's latest v1.9.3 and all such mods have to be updated to the new AC v1.9 sound engine by the original mods creator.

After extensive searching, testing and member discussions, we will now be running with the most excellent "AC Legends" mod to ensure that our last official championship race for the year will be one for the ol'driving purists and be a memorable one indeed.

PS: You can find the AC Legends & Bathurst download links in post#1

Our "AEF Racing Australasia" server will be running the above mods publicly this next 2 weeks in lead up to the big race for drivers car selection, practice and testing in full race conditions.
