Cool A lazy afternoon at Nellis (photos)

    Hi all,

I posted these on WhatsApp, but I'm guessing some of you haven't seen them. I spent a week in Vegas, and took a day to sit at the end of the Nellis runway taking pictures of whatever came past. Turns out there was a Red Flag exercise on the go, so there was lots to see! Photos below

Yeah, it was pretty mental. I counted 50+ aircraft taking off. My mental list included: F16/F15/F18/F5e/A4/Hercules/B1/Blackhawk/Eurofighter Typhoon and Globemasters.

Thanks for sharing wedgie... I haven't seen many of those in the flesh.. other than A4, F15 and C130. Would be a thrill to sit near a busy base like that and witness lots of air movements.

Wish we'd get some decent air shows in Sydney... or NSW at least.

I can barely travel to Sydney, with my crap health, let alone Melbourne..

Besides... I don't think Geelong is air conditioned.
