    F-15 BVR Training

I was wondering if I could get one of our senior F-15 pilots to coach me in the F15.

I enjoy A-A, but I feel severely outgunned in the Mirage. I need to be more effective in the Eagle.

Could Jetwash, or Sneaky help a brother out?

    Main topics:
    - Must have Key Binds
    - Radar use
    - BVR engagement
    - Tips and Tricks

I think with the F-18 around the corner, this is probably useful to know, and learning this first means I can learn all the other stuff (A-G radar, TGP) later in the other module, and focus on flying the bird.

Sneaky and ZyfrNZ fly much smarter than me mate, One of them would be my pick...

Jetwash and Zyfr know what they are doing for sure. I'm like you, madly trying to learn air to air and build SA before the F14/F18 drops.

You're probably doing most things right as it is. As you say, the Mirage is just badly outgunned by F15s with AMRAAMs, and the 29/27/33 at least match the Mirage in BVR. They will all be tough fights without surprise.

If you see me online just sing out. I'm happy to help any time I'm on (except when formation sessions are on of course).

I'd be interested in joining in too. I'm having some hardware issues at the moment. Not sure if I'll have them fixed up tonight. I feel a rebuild coming on.

Not BVR, but a really good series of 16 ACM vids -

Hey man! Keen for some BVR/BFM/ACM practice in the coming weeks.

What I want to know is, is there a specific training mission or way of setting up DCS World so you can smash out as many engagements as possible in a couple hours than normal.

My mentality at the moment is
    - Two players spawn in their respectable jets
    - Power up and load out
    - Take off and fly to bullseye
    - 15+ mins has passed
    - Targets aquired
    - BVR/BFM/ACM commences
    - 60-180 seconds later it should all be over with one loser and one winner
    - The two sides Reset.......
    - Another 15+ mins has passed and the learning curve is rather slow.
